I have a passion for photography and computers. I find the world even more beautiful through the lens of a camera than via the naked eye. I like the speed with which a computer can accomplish mundane tasks, leaving me free to do more creative things.

How I make my art:
The images I create are compilations and blends of a number of digital images I create which get layered as many times as necessary. I use the entire images in my work, not parts as is done in composites.
It is difficult to say what I begin with, sometimes it is one of the images that starts the process, at other times it is an idea that I have been playing with and for which I will take specific photographs. But once the initial base image has been chosen, the other images to be used in the final work suggest themselves while I work. The final number of layers is unknown until the very last, but there is a definite point at which I know the work is done (good or bad).
While I am creating a piece there is a constant dance of pixels in front of me, creating imaginary worlds, worlds that somehow live inside of me but that only become visible via the manipulations.

Expressing myself in this way excites me; I lose myself in the mind journeys that happen and hope that others may enjoy their own mind journeys while looking at the pieces on my website...
